Kemp & Partners, accountants and staff are selected for their particular area of expertise in order to build a team which offers up to date technical expertise and skills. As a result, clients have access to specialist financial advice for all commercial purposes. Our compact size also encourages formal and informal consultation regarding client’s problems between partners ensuring the best possible advice available.
Ian Kemp
The Kemp & Partners team is headed by the senior partner, Ian L Kemp, who commenced pratice in 1977, and has guided the firm successfully through to its present seven partner size.
Ian is a financial planning specialist and has received professional accreditation through CPA Australia. Ian has considerable public accounting experience in taxation and provides specialist advice to medium and small business on the Peninsula. Ian also has extensive taxation and taxation planning experience gained through his public practice career. He also provides informed independent financial planning advice to all retirees and investors.
Ian is a great believer in the firms motto "Helping you to create wealth and retain it".

Peter Schreiner
Peter joined the firm in 1992 after working for several years with the large chartered accounting firm Price Waterhouse Coopers. Peter was a managing consultant with Price Waterhouse Coopers, he developed extensive experience in various industries, including manufacturing, retail and franchising.
His professional background includes completing his Bachelor of Commerce from Melbourne University and completing the demanding Professional year with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, providing advice to many large, medium and small businesses ranging from franchising to manufacturing industries. Peter's qualifications include being Registered as a Company Auditor and Registered Tax Agent.
Peter is a proper authority holder with Frankston Financial Services Pty Ltd. He provides informed, independent financial planning advice to all retirees and investors.

Sari Goosey
Sari has worked for Kemp & Partners since August 1994 when she began working part time whilst completing her accounting degree at Monash. After completing her degree she then went on to complete the CPA program and became a CPA in 1998. She is also qualified in financial planning since completing study in 1999.
Sari became a partner of Kemp & Partners in 2002 and moved to the Mornington premises in 2007. Sari is married with one boy and enjoys tropical holidays, equestrian and football. She provides business services for many small business and enjoys being involved with local small business.

Sally-Anne Larkman
Sally started working in 1984 for a Chartered firm in Oakleigh (G E Wolf & Co), whilst studying part time, she left to study full time in 1985 and commenced part-time work with Ian Kemp. Sally left in 1989 to travel overseas, on her return spent 12 months in Commerce, then returned to Public practice in 1990 and was offered a position by Ian Kemp in his practice in 1991. Sally is married with two boys and has been a partner with Kemp & Partners for 16 years.

Andrew Parsons
Andrew was educated at The Peninsula School, finished a Commerce degree at Monash University in 1998, completed his CPA in 2002 and obtained his Public Practicing certificate in 2003. Andrew commenced working with Kemp & Partners in 1997 whilst still completing his degree and was accepted as a partner in 2004.
Andrew is married with one son and another child on the way. Andrew has lived in the area all his life, his interests include golf, cricket and football.

Karen Kemp
Karen commenced practicing as an accountant in 1986 and started with Kemp & Partners in 1982, becoming a partner in 1988. Karen has a Bachelor of Business Accounting and a Public Practice Certificate and has been in the industry for 25 years.

Shaun Payze
Shaun joined Kemp & Partners in 2001 whilst finishing his final year of university. After a few years break from study Shaun completed his CPA in 2007. Shaun has a five year old son and plays football and cricket for the Peninsula Old Boys. He also also enjoys playing golf at The National Gold Club where he is a member.

Peder Whelan
Peder has lived on the Mornington Peninsula his whole life and attended The Peninsula School. Peder graduated from Monash University in 2007 Majoring in Accounting, he has been with Kemp & Partners since 2008 and is currently studying for his CPA. Peder loves playing football for the Frankston Dolphins and also enjoys snowboarding, golf, basketball & wakeboarding.

Paul Garrett
Paul joined our firm in 2000, graduating from Monash University with a Bachelor of Business, Majoring in Accounting in 1999. Paul completed his CPA in 2004 - Paul has a dog named Rupert and loves playing 'Dungeons and Dragons' in his spare time.

Andrew Taylor
Andrew graduated from Monash University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Accounting and Diploma of Languages (Japanese), he has previously worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Tabcorp and Motorola through university placements. Andrew has been with Kemp & Partners since November 2007 and is currently undertaking the CPA program. Andrew loves playing and watching all kinds of sports, in particular basketball and AFL, in which he supports the Geelong Cats.

Brendan Short
Brendan worked for L'Oreal in 2006 before graduating from Monash University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Business & Commerce, with Majors in Accounting, Banking and Finance. Brendan has been with Kemp & Partners since March 2007 and is currently undertaking the CPA program, he loves to travel and experience new cultures.
